Wireless, Adaptive Vacuum Pump Systems

KNF's advanced vacuum pump systems feature powerful pumping speeds and strong end vacuum for shorter processing times with a wide range of solvents. The pumping speeds of KNF's vacuum systems are completely adjustable, easily allowing flask sizes up to 20L to be accommodated. Plus, the precision sensing system of KNF vacuum pump systems prevents bumping and maintains consistency for all vessel sizes. Wireless, blue-tooth handheld controllers offer added safety and convenience - enabling remote operation from a distance, even when the fume hood is closed.

Fast and Precise From Afar

KNF's SC-Series Vacuum Pump Systems support remote control over a wireless Bluetooth-enabled hand terminal, ensuring maximum flexibility in the laboratory. The wireless remote control greatly improves lab safety by allowing the user to control the vacuum system safely away from the fume hood without opening the hood sash - minimizing risk and saving HVAC energy.

 

Four Operating Modes

System operation is controlled from the hand-held wireless remote terminal or via a USB control interface on your PC. Both SC and SCC vacuum pump systems feature four operating modes, providing ultimate flexibility for many laboratory applications. Operating modes include:

  • Evacuate: the vacuum pump system evacuates a vacuum chamber with adjustable pump capacity
  • Pressure Control: the vacuum pump system controls/maintains constant pressure
  • Automatic: the system automatically determines the vapor pressure of a sample, and adjusts process pressure in accordance to irregularities in pressure curve.
  • Individual Pressure Function: the vacuum system controls the process according to your custom-programmed time-pressure curve.


Intelligent Control

A key feature of the SC system is its intelligent control system. A pressure sensor measures the actual pressure in the system several times per second, while a microprocessor monitors any pressure drop over time - pump speed is adapted accordingly.

Fast and precise from afar: SC 920, SC 950, and SCC 950 vacuum pump systems support remote control over a wireless hand terminal, thus ensuring maximum safety and flexibility in the laboratory.
